Eternal flame is situated in  Kazi Nazrul Islam Ave, Dhaka, Bangladesh.On 7^th March 1997(23^rd Falgun 1403) A nationwide rally of flaming torches was inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the people’s republic of Bangladesh.

Upon the completion of the countrywide tour of Bangladesh that commenced in Tongipara  on 17^th March,1997 the national Flag was hoisted here on 26^thmarch,1997(12^th Chaitra 1403) by the Honorable president of the people’s republic of Bangladesh.

The foundation of the “Eternal flame” was laid by the Honorable Prime Minister of the government of the people’s republic of Bangladesh.
